Write For The CBD Hut

Pitch a thoughtful CBD, wellness or product-education article for a UK audience. We are interested in useful expertise and original ideas—not generic content created around a backlink.

  • Original ideas
  • British English
  • Responsible product language

Please send a proposal before writing a complete article. Publication is always subject to editorial review.

Before you pitch

Start With The Reader, Not The Link

A strong proposal has a defined audience, a useful angle and a clear reason to exist alongside the guides already published by The CBD Hut.

Before contacting us, review the existing guide hub and identify the gap your article would fill. Explain the intended reader, the practical question being answered and what makes the contribution credible.

We do not commission a complete draft at the proposal stage. A clear working title, short outline, author background and relevant examples are enough for an initial review.

Commercial relationships, brand involvement and requested links must be disclosed from the beginning. Approval of an idea does not guarantee publication of a draft or inclusion of a particular link.

Edit

Final Editorial Decision

We may edit, request changes, decline or schedule a contribution according to quality, compliance and site needs.

Editorial standard

Original, Transparent & Responsible

Content must be written for readers first. The CBD Hut may remove claims, links, promotional language or unsupported statements during review.

No medical or unauthorised CBD health claims

CBD content must not make health or medicinal claims. Mushroom, nootropic and wider wellness content must remain informational and must not promise treatment, relief or other health outcomes.

Use accurate, current information

Product facts, routes, prices and supporting references must be checked before a draft is submitted.

Disclose commercial involvement

Brand relationships, payment, supplied products and requested links must be made clear during the proposal.

Contributor FAQs

Pitching, Links & Editorial Review

Quick answers before you prepare an editorial proposal.

Should I write the complete article before pitching?

No. Send a focused proposal with a working title, reader, outline, author background and relevant examples. Wait for editorial feedback before preparing a full draft.

Do you accept paid or sponsored contributions?

Commercial proposals must be disclosed clearly and are reviewed for fit, transparency and editorial value. If published content constitutes advertising or has a material commercial relationship that needs disclosure, it will be identified clearly for readers. Payment or sponsorship does not guarantee acceptance or control over the final content.

Can a contribution include links?

Relevant links may be considered where they genuinely support the reader. Promotional, low-quality, unrelated or undisclosed links may be removed or declined.

Can an article describe the benefits of a product?

Content may explain verified product features, format, stated strength, ingredients and label information. CBD content must not make health or medicinal claims, and wider wellness content must not promise health outcomes.
