Refund policy

At The CBD Hut, we want you to shop with confidence. If something is not right, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
This policy explains your options for returns, refunds and replacements for purchases made through our website and, where applicable, in store. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
1. Change-of-mind returns
If you buy from us online, you may have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Your right to cancel
For most online orders, you have the right to tell us you want to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods. If you do this, you then have a further 14 days to send the goods back to us.
Return conditions
To qualify for a change-of-mind return, items must be:
- unused and unopened;
- in their original packaging;
- in a resaleable condition; and
- returned with any seals, labels, inserts, and accessories where applicable.
You may inspect goods as you would in a shop, but we may reduce a refund if an item has been handled more than necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and function.
Items we may not accept for change-of-mind returns
We may refuse a change-of-mind return where the law allows, including for:
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
- perishable goods;
- personalised or custom-made items; and
- gift cards, e-gift cards, or vouchers.
Because many of our products are consumable or used in close contact with the body, opened or unsealed items are usually not eligible for a change-of-mind return unless faulty.
2. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items
Please contact us if:
- your item arrives damaged;
- you receive the wrong item;
- your order is incomplete;
- the product appears faulty; or
- the product is not as described.
If a product is faulty or not as described, you may have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right in some circumstances to reject goods within 30 days for a full refund.
Where appropriate, we may offer:
- a refund;
- a replacement;
- an exchange; or
- another suitable remedy in line with your statutory rights.
3. How to request a return or refund
Please email hello@thecbdhut.co.uk and include:
- your order number;
- your full name;
- a short explanation of the issue; and
- photos, if the item is damaged, incorrect, or faulty.
For change-of-mind cancellations, please contact us within the cancellation period set out above.
For damaged, incorrect, or faulty items, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after delivery so we can resolve the issue quickly.
4. How to return an item
If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions.
Please do not send items back until we have confirmed the return details.

We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as you are responsible for the goods until they reach us unless we have agreed otherwise.
5. Return postage costs
If you are returning an item because you changed your mind
Unless the law says otherwise, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
If the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described
We will either:
- provide a prepaid return option; or
- reimburse reasonable return postage costs where agreed in advance.
6. Refunds
If your return is approved, refunds will be made to your original payment method.
For valid online cancellations
Where the Consumer Contracts Regulations apply, we will refund:
- the price paid for the goods; and
- the basic outbound delivery charge, where required by law.
We may deduct from the refund if the value of the goods has been reduced by handling beyond what is necessary.
Refund timing
Where applicable, refunds will be made without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back or receive evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.
Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund once issued.
7. Orders cancelled before dispatch
If you contact us before your order has been dispatched, we will do our best to stop it. If successful, we will issue a refund to your original payment method.
If the order has already been dispatched, it may need to be treated as a return instead.
8. Gift cards
Gift cards, e-gift cards, and vouchers are non-refundable except where required by law.
