Shipping policy

At The CBD Hut, we aim to get your order to you quickly, securely, and with clear communication throughout the process. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, dispatch, and deliver orders placed through our website.
1. Delivery areas
We currently ship to:
- United Kingdom, including mainland and selected offshore areas;
- Europe;
- selected international destinations, subject to shipping availability and local restrictions.
Some countries or regions may be excluded from delivery due to local regulations, courier restrictions, or product limitations. Please review our restricted shipping information before ordering where relevant.
2. Carriers we use
We use trusted third-party delivery partners, including Royal Mail and Evri, depending on the destination, order size, weight, and service selected at checkout.
We may use alternative carriers from time to time where appropriate to complete delivery efficiently and securely.
3. Order processing times
Orders are usually packed and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days of the order being placed.
Business days do not include weekends or UK public holidays.
During busy periods, promotional events, holidays, adverse weather, or other high-volume periods, dispatch may take a little longer. If there is a significant delay affecting your order, we will aim to let you know as soon as reasonably possible.
4. Order confirmation and dispatch updates
After placing your order, you should receive an order confirmation email. Once your parcel has been dispatched, we will send a shipping confirmation email where applicable.
For tracked services, tracking details will be sent once available. Please allow a short period for tracking updates to become active after dispatch.
5. Shipping costs
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on factors such as the delivery destination, parcel weight, parcel size, and the service selected.
From time to time, we may offer free shipping or delivery promotions. Any such offer will be clearly stated on the website or at checkout and may be subject to minimum order values, destination limits, or promotional conditions.
6. Estimated delivery times
Estimated delivery timeframes from dispatch are typically:
- UK Standard: 2 to 3 business days
- UK Express: 1 to 2 business days
- International delivery: 5 to 21 business days
These timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery times may be affected by factors outside our control, including courier delays, customs processing, adverse weather, strikes, service disruptions, incorrect address details, or seasonal demand.
7. Delivery address responsibility
It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout.
We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery attempts, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address information supplied at the time of order.
If you realise you have entered the wrong address, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@thecbdhut.co.uk. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made once an order has been processed or dispatched.
8. Delivery attempts and safe place deliveries
Depending on the courier and delivery service used, a parcel may:
- require a signature on delivery;
- be left in a safe place;
- be delivered to a neighbour;
- be redirected to a local collection point or depot;
- be returned to the sender after unsuccessful delivery attempts.
Once a parcel has been delivered in accordance with the delivery instructions, tracking confirmation, safe place selection, neighbour delivery, or collection point process used by the courier, responsibility for the parcel may pass to you.
If you have specific delivery requirements, we recommend monitoring tracking updates closely and using any courier delivery preference tools where available.
9. Failed delivery and returned parcels
If a parcel is returned to us because delivery could not be completed, because it was not collected, or because the address provided was incorrect or incomplete, we may contact you to arrange redelivery.
Additional shipping charges may apply for re-dispatch in these circumstances.
10. International orders, customs, and import charges
If you place an order for delivery outside the United Kingdom, your order may be subject to import duties, customs charges, taxes, clearance fees, or other local charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, border checks, or local import procedures.
Before placing an international order, you should check that the products ordered are lawful in your destination country and review any likely import requirements or restrictions.
11. Restricted destinations and legal compliance
Some products may not be available for shipment to certain countries or regions due to legal, regulatory, or courier restrictions. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order that cannot lawfully or practically be fulfilled.
If an international order cannot be completed for regulatory or delivery reasons, we will contact you and, where appropriate, refund the relevant payment.
12. Delays outside our control
We are not liable for delivery delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to courier issues, industrial action, customs delays, severe weather, transport disruption, cyber incidents, or force majeure events.
13. Lost, damaged, or missing parcels
If your parcel appears to be delayed, lost, damaged, or missing, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@thecbdhut.co.uk and include your order number and any relevant details.
We may need time to investigate with the courier before a replacement or refund can be considered. In some cases, we may ask you to provide further information to support the claim.
