CBD Lab Reports & COAs

Transparency matters. Where supplied by the manufacturer/brand, we share Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and lab reports so you can shop with confidence — with clear information on cannabinoid profile and other commonly tested markers.

Quick Answers Before You Shop

Lab Reports FAQs

Everything you need to know about COAs, lab testing, and where to find reports on our site.

What is a CBD lab report (COA)?

A lab report, often called a COA (Certificate of Analysis), is an independent test document that shows what a product contains. It typically confirms CBD content and may also include results for THC and other cannabinoids, plus (where tested) key safety screens.

Where can I find the lab report for a product on The CBD Hut?

If available, the lab report is linked on the product page under headings like Lab report / COA / Testing. Some brands also include a QR code on the packaging that links directly to the correct batch results.

Are your CBD products third-party lab tested?

Many brands we stock provide third-party lab testing for their CBD products. When a COA is supplied by the manufacturer, we publish it for transparency. If you can’t see a report, it usually means it hasn’t been provided for that product or batch.

What does a COA tell me about CBD strength?

A COA shows the CBD level measured by the lab (often shown as mg/ml, mg/g, or %). This helps you verify the product’s label strength aligns with the tested result, with minor natural variation possible for hemp extracts.

Will a lab report show THC content?

Often, yes. Many COAs list THC and related cannabinoids (such as Delta 9-THC and THCA, sometimes shown as Total THC). Reporting formats differ by lab, so it’s best to check the exact lines on the document.

What’s the difference between full spectrum, broad spectrum and CBD isolate on a COA?
  • Full spectrum: usually shows a wider range of cannabinoids and may include trace THC (depending on the product and lab reporting).
  • Broad spectrum: usually shows multiple cannabinoids with no detectable THC or below the lab’s detection limit.
  • CBD isolate: typically shows CBD as the dominant compound, with minimal or no other cannabinoids detected.
